understanding the investment
a different kind of investment
Designed for Lasting Change
Many of the clients who reach out to me have tried to figure things out on their own — or have been in therapy before and gained insight without experiencing lasting change. Others feel burned out, disconnected, or quietly unsettled, even if life looks “fine” from the outside.
This practice is designed for depth and precision.
I approach therapy intentionally — with careful assessment, attuned collaboration, and sustained attention to the patterns shaping your relationships and sense of self.
We slow down and process deeply, but with direction — focusing on the recurring dynamics that keep showing up so the work leads to meaningful, lasting change rather than temporary relief.
If you’re seeking relational and culturally attuned care designed to create real movement — not just weekly support — this investment reflects that level of focus.

Some clients come to me after therapy that created insight but not lasting change. Others are starting therapy for the first time and want to approach it with intention.
Insight matters. But understanding why something developed isn’t the same as shifting what keeps happening.
For individuals, we identify the strategies you’ve learned — over-functioning, shutting down, staying hyper-aware of others — and examine how culture, identity, and past relationships shaped them. Then we ask an important question: Do these strategies still serve the life you’re trying to build? If not, what alternatives can we introduce?
For couples, we begin with stabilization. When conflict feels urgent or overwhelming, we first work to slow the cycle and reduce escalation. From there, we look at what each of you learned about closeness, conflict, and vulnerability — and how those differences collide in the present. As those patterns become clearer, arguments become less chaotic, repair happens more quickly, and connection feels more secure.
This space isn’t about blame. It’s about clarity and choice — so you can engage conflict/ pain differently, set boundaries more confidently, and respond intentionally rather than automatically.
That’s where meaningful change happens.

I am an out-of-network provider. This does not mean you can’t use your insurance. Many insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits, which allow you to receive reimbursement for services from providers outside your network.
Depending on your plan, your insurance may reimburse a portion of each session after your deductible is met. I provide a monthly superbill that you can submit for reimbursement.
If you’d like to quickly check whether your plan includes out-of-network benefits, you can use the secure tool below.

The length of therapy varies based on your goals and the complexity of the patterns we’re addressing. Some clients engage in focused work over several months, while others choose to continue longer for deeper relational exploration.
The goal is not indefinite therapy, but meaningful, sustained change.

This work is well suited for individuals and couples who are ready to move beyond managing symptoms and look honestly at why the same situations keep playing out — or why a quiet sense of disconnection lingers even when everything looks “fine.”
Many of my clients are thoughtful and high-functioning. They may already understand why certain struggles exist, yet still find themselves repeating the same dynamics in conflict, in anxiety, or in their relationships. Some feel burned out from over-functioning, struggle to express anger directly, or notice persistent anxiety about connection beneath their competence.
You don’t need to arrive with a clear diagnosis or have everything figured out. But you do need to be willing to slow down moments that usually move quickly — staying with emotions that are easier to analyze than feel — and explore what’s underneath the stress, including the relational and identity patterns shaping your life.
That willingness is what makes meaningful change possible.

I offer a free 15–20 minute consultation to help us determine whether this work feels aligned.
During that conversation, we’ll briefly discuss what’s bringing you in, what you’ve tried before, and what you’re hoping will feel different. You’re welcome to ask questions about my approach, fees, or process.
The consultation is not a therapy session — it’s a focused space to assess fit. If it feels like the right match, we’ll discuss next steps. If not, you’re under no obligation to move forward.
the next step is a consultation.
